+ Are your paper cups recyclable?

A. Once disposable coffee cups are used, they’re typically thrown into the bin. However, our 100% recyclable coffee cups are different. As they’re made from paper, recycling them is possible.

Other companies promote biodegradable cups that are ‘compostable’, which means they must be placed in a compost bin where they take 5 to 10 years to break down. However, if not composted, these insulated coffee cups fail to break down and eventually end up damaging the environment. Many people think these bio cups will magically disintegrate when you throw them in the bin, but this is not the case.

While slow development of Australia’s recycling facilities previously made it non-profitable to recycle cups, recent innovations have made paper and cardboard recycling more cost-effective.
